"La dolce vita" (the sweet life) in Norwalk, Fairfield County, CT with Lingua e Cucina

An evening with Lingua e Cucina at Quartina’s Restaurant downtown SoNo for a “mix “of Italian language and culture and an array of tasty and flavorful Italian regional food.

Thanks to Italian study programs created, personalized and offered by Lingua e Cucina in Norwalk, Fairfield County, CT, students can enjoy and experience “la dolce vita” (the sweet life) of Italians right here in the area without the need to travel to Italy. They are trained to practice the beautiful Italian language with native Italians; they can enjoy and taste Italian regional food and wine, as well as Italian beer, and immerse in the Italian culture to better understand the way of thinking and doing of the Italian people.

To create such an experience for its students, Lingua e Cucina has chosen this time Quartina’s Restaurant downtown SoNo, in Norwalk. Giuseppe, who is the restaurant chef and owner (in the photo among students) “was born in the kitchen”; besides his entertaining personality and sense of humor, he offers typical Italian regional culinary dishes from tender, exquisite grilled calamari and beet salad with goat cheese as starters to a mix of fish like branzino, linguine with clams and a variety of meat, chicken and pasta dishes like “cavatelli baresi”. Giuseppe was born in Vico Equense, a historic town built on the Vesuvio ashes, not too far from the historic town of Pompei, the Amalfi coast, including the town of Positano, and a throw stone from the islands of Capri and Procida.
